At Homeless Cities Foundation, we are on a mission to create a world where no one has to face homelessness alone. Based in Westminster, California, we serve individuals and families in urban communities who are experiencing homelessness, providing them with the critical resources they need to survive — and the support they need to thrive.
Our approach is holistic and human-centered. We offer emergency shelter, daily meals, healthcare access, employment support, and housing navigation — all rooted in compassion, dignity, and community. But more than services, we offer hope.
We believe that homelessness is not a personal failure — it’s a societal challenge that requires empathy, action, and collaboration. That’s why we partner with local organizations, government agencies, and volunteers to deliver real solutions and create sustainable pathways to permanent housing and self-sufficiency.
From the Streets to Stability — One Life at a Time
At Homeless Cities Foundation, our story begins with a simple but powerful truth: everyone deserves a safe place to call home.
Founded with compassion and driven by urgency, we were born from the overwhelming need to address the rising rates of homelessness in urban communities. What started as a small local outreach project quickly grew into a full-scale nonprofit organization—one committed to walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

At Homeless Cities Foundation, our work goes beyond providing temporary relief — we build sustainable pathways out of homelessness. Through a holistic, person-centered approach, we deliver critical services including emergency shelter, food security, healthcare access, employment support, and housing navigation.
We work directly in urban communities, meeting people where they are, and walking alongside them toward long-term stability and self-sufficiency. In collaboration with local organizations, government agencies, and compassionate volunteers, we’re restoring dignity, rebuilding lives, and redefining what’s possible — one person, one family, and one city at a time.

It began on the streets of Westminster, California, where a few volunteers brought food, blankets, and conversation to people sleeping in alleys, cars, and encampments. It wasn’t about handouts — it was about connection. About listening to stories, remembering names, and treating each person with the dignity they so often felt stripped of.
As the need grew, so did our vision. We saw firsthand that homelessness is not just a lack of shelter — it’s a complex web of lost jobs, mental health struggles, rising rent, broken systems, and personal crises. We knew we needed more than kindness — we needed structure, resources, and a holistic model for long-term change.
And so, Homeless Cities Foundation was born — rooted in compassion, built on collaboration, and focused on sustainable transformation.

Since our founding, we’ve grown into a dynamic organization that offers a wide range of services:
- Emergency shelters to give people a safe place to rest and recover.
- Meal programs that nourish bodies and uplift spirits.

- Employment support that empowers people to reenter the workforce.
